Ruth's Chris Steak House Selects Quantitative Analysis for Site
Forecasting
Houston (August 7, 2002) Quantitative Analysis (QA) announced
today that it will provide a statistical site model to Ruths
Chris Steak House that will provide objective, reliable sales
forecasts for financial models and site selection decisions as
the restaurant chain plans to open new locations during 2002 and
2003.
I believe Ruths Chris Steak House chose Quantitative
Analysis to develop the site model because of our level of expertise

As part of
the model development process, QA will analyze hundreds of trade
area variables, such as Census 2000 demographics, business and

From this extensive data, QA will identify the most important

The resulting model is a formula that quantifies the impact of
all these factors on restaurant sales, and provides a reliable
forecast of sales for prospective sites.
The site model will be completed in October, with testing on current
and prospective sites wrapping up in November.
